Ready to join us?

You’re a great fit if you: 
  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and are expected to graduate in 2026 or 2027. 
  • Are eligible to work in Taiwan and fluent in both English and Mandarin. 
  • Are a strong communicator, have a growth mindset, and love learning. 
  • Can be physically present in Taiwan and report onsite at the designated office location throughout the internship period.

Step 1: Application

Step 2: Interview and assessment process

If you meet the criteria, you’ll begin our digital interview and assessment process:
  • First, you´ll be invited to a digital interview on HireVue to assess your communication, team-building and problem soling skills.
  • Next, you´ll move on to an online assessment (SHL) to further evaluate your analytical skills.
  • If you successfully complete both the HireVue interview and the SHL assessment, you’ll be scheduled for a short phone interview with our HR team to learn more about your motivations and experiences. 

After completing all the preliminary steps, you’ll be invited to our On-Ground Assessment Day (OGA) during the week of May 18. At OGA, you’ll work on group business cases, take part in a competency-based interview with PMI experts, and connect with fellow candidates.

  • Research the function you´re applying for and be ready to share your motivation and suitability
  • For online interviews and assessments, choose a quiet, distraction-free space to help you focus.

Step 3: Internship Offer and Onboarding

Once interviews and assessments are complete, our team will review all candidates before making final decisions. If selected, you’ll receive an internship offer from Philip Morris International and begin your onboarding journey.

  • Carefully review your offer and onboarding materials
  • Ask any questions—starting something new should feel exciting, not confusing!
  • Get ready to make the most of your INKOMPASS experience.

Rock your interview, and if you advance, you’ll move on to the SHL assessment. Remember, you have up to seven days to complete each step—but don’t miss your deadline!

.Who is eligible to apply?
Students who are legally eligible to work in Taiwan without visa sponsorships.

What year of study must I be in to apply?
You should be a student in an undergraduate or graduate program who will graduate in 2026 or 2027.

Do I need to stay in Taiwan during the INKOMPASS program?
Yes, you must be in Taiwan for the entire duration of the program.

Must I be based in office locations?
Yes — you must be able to report onsite at the designated office location as required by the role. 

What are the language requirements?
You must be fluent in English and Mandarin.

Do I need previous internship or work experience to apply?
No, previous experience is not required. It’s only a plus. We’re looking for students who are eager to learn, open-minded, and strong team players.

Are the internships paid? 
Yes, all INKOMPASS internships are paid with competitive salary.

What benefits are offered to INKOMPASS interns? 
In addition to paid work experience, INKOMPASS interns receive life and medical insurance, and transportation support for business related travel. They also benefit from mentorship, professional development opportunities, employee support hotlines, social clubs, and the chance to work on meaningful real-life projects. 

Will I receive training or support as an intern? 
Yes! At Philip Morris, development is an essential part of your career journey. All interns receive onboarding, mentorship, and continuous support from their teams and managers. In addition, you will have access to online training programs and learning platforms to further enhance your skills.

What happens after the internship?
High-performing interns might be offered a place in our Graduate Program—a full‑time 18‑month development program designed to fast‑track your career. Depending on business needs and available openings, interns may also be considered for future roles within the organization. 

Can I apply if I was an INKOMPASS intern before? 
No, you cannot. Each INKOMPASS intern may only join the program once.

Can I reapply if I wasn’t selected previously? 
Yes, you can apply again in a future cycle even if you’ve applied before.
