It's rewarding
We offer competitive salaries in Malaysia, and our benefits include, but are not limited to, 20 days vacation, 1 birthday leave, and up to 60 days of paid sick leave. Additional leaves of Examination leave is provided where applicable. Lunch is provided to employees that work in the PMM office and factory.  
For those with families, we offer paid parental leave which includes maternity & paternity leave. Maternity covers 18 paid weeks + additional 18 unpaid weeks, Paternity covers 8 paid weeks. We also offer inpatient and outpatient medical for employee and dependents, life insurance as well as Employee Wellness support.

We offer flexible work arrangements - our Smart Work approach allowing employees to strike a balance between working onsite and working remotely. It applies to roles that are assessed as hybrid eligible. Employees work in the office 3 days per week.

The EQUAL-SALARY Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization based in Switzerland. The EQUAL-SALARY Certification verifies that organizations have sustainable policies and practices to ensure that they pay their male and female employees equally for equal work. Bloomberg
We have been added to the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for our transparency in gender reporting and advancing women’s equity. Philip Morris Malaysia has been honored with the prestigious Bronze Award at the 2024 Employee Experience Awards (Malaysia) for our outstanding efforts in Sustainability (ESG). This recognition is a testament to our collective dedication and hard work in ESG. 

Philip Morris International Malaysia

The company is an affiliate of Philip Morris International (PMI) and has approximately 380 employees in Malaysia today. In 1968, PMI entered the Malaysian market with the sale and distribution of our top combustible brand. PMM also operates a cast leaf plant in Seremban. This 100 percent export facility is PMI’s largest in the world.

In 2016, PMI announced the decision to build its future on smoke-free products, which are a much better choice than cigarette smoking.

We have roles in our Commercial, External Affairs (EA) and Communications teams. We need talented people in these roles to help us make history. Some Commercial roles could be in the field, whereas the Marketing and EA roles are based in our Selangor office.

PMI’s origins can be traced back to Mr. Philip Morris who had his first shop in London in 1847, and now Philip Morris International has over 80,000 colleagues across the world. We have over 1,500 colleagues from research and development, as well as engineers and technicians working on smoke-free products.  With around 150 million consumers, our products are sold in about 180 markets, with 84 markets selling smoke-free products.
